How can I get the latest Exoid Control Suite software release?

Complimentary software upgrades are part of your Exoid package.

The Exoid Control Suite (ECS) is the software used to control the Exoid instrument and generate measurement data.

Before downloading ECS 1.5, please install the latest APS firmware by following these instructions.

To access the latest ECS version, download the latest Exoid Control Suite software release here.

Following installation, you will need to make sure your VCA firmware is up-to-date by following these instructions.

If your download does not start using Google Chrome, please use an alternate browser to download this software.

For 21 CFR Part 11 users, DO NOT download the software. Contact Izon Support for more information on the latest version of 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software.

General Updates

New APS Calibration Button: A button has been added in the Connections window to calibrate the APS zero position (requires the latest APS firmware).

VCA Current Range Toggle: Users can now adjust the VCA current range via a new toggle in the Connections window.

User Interface Enhancements

Customisable Calibration Particle Charge: Users must now manually enter the calibration particle charge instead of relying on a fixed value. This is to accommodate for future changes in calibration particle charge values. Investigation Header Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where sample or calibration details persisted in states where they shouldn’t.

System Parameter Input Bug Fix: Addressed a bug that previously required double-tapping the Enter key to input system parameters.
UI Refinements: Minor alignment and aesthetic improvements.

Advanced Interface Upgrades

Complete Interface Redesign: Now compatible with both dark mode and light mode.

Streamlined Features: Unused features have been removed for a cleaner experience.

New Graphs & Data Visualisations:

- Relative Particle Speed Histogram

- Particle Rate Plot

Improved Histogram Scaling: Now defaults to 1 nA or max blockade size (whichever is larger). The graph can no longer be dragged independently from the axis.

Recording ID Warning: A new warning notifies users if the Recording ID hasn’t been changed before starting a new recording.
