Can I load the raw sample straight onto the column?
No. Loading raw samples without prior purification may instantaneously block the column. To avoid clogging of column filters, it is recommended to filter or low-speed centrifuge the biological sample to remove large particulates.
The average protein concentration for pre-qEV raw plasma samples is typically ~70 g/L. We recommend for user to carry out a protein concentration measurements to work out the total protein concentration using a colorometric assay such as a Lowry assay, Bradford assay or BCA assay.
