Video: Maintaining a stable baseline current
A stable baseline current during measurement is crucial to ensure that correct sizing and concentration value is calculated.
Sample preparation is key to ensure that a stable baseline current is maintained. A poorly prepared sample can cause issues during measurement particularly in partial blocking of the nanopore.
If a partial blockage occurred, pause or stop the recording and ensure that the baseline current returns to the value observed prior to the blockage occurring with one of the baseline recovery methods.
