The software will not allow the Custom Planner or Classic Capture tabs to run. How do I fix this?

If the software tabs for the operating the instrument aren't responding, a simple method of re-establishing the connection between the qNano and the computer is to disconnect and reconnect the micro-USB from the port on the side of the instrument, and restart the software. 

 

Restart the software in this order: 

  1. Exit Izon Control Suite Software (CSS)
  2. Remove USB leads and power lead from the back of the instrument. 

    Important: This port can easily become warped and faulty if users pull the cord too roughly at odd angles, so care must be taken to remove the micro-USB cord carefully.

  3. Load Izon CSS
  4. Insert micro-USB
  5. Insert power lead and switch power ON
