The software doesn't respond during "Calibrate Nanopore Stretch"

Communications between the software and the computer can sometimes be interrupted when left idle. This can result in the software not responding to any stretch input: 


 The Applied Stretch box will stay yellow when a value is entered. 


To rectify this issue, cycle the power to the instrument by turning it off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. If the problem still persists:

  1. Power off instrument (10 seconds) and close down the software. 
  2. Disconnect the USB lead from the computer. 
  3. Load the Izon software. 
  4. Switch the power to the instrument on. 
  5. Connect the USB lead to the computer. 

We recommend shutting down the instrument's power supply at the end of each day.
